My Approach

In a marble carving class my professor once explained "You don't get to tell the marble what to do. If you embrace it in its natural state the marble will reveal its form to you." Meaning, no matter how hard one tries with a chisel and hammer the natural properties of the material itself will determine how it can be formed. This is my approach to therapy. To accept each client exactly as they are and allow them the space to choose and direct their own growth.

Individual Psychotherapy

Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming—but you’re not alone in this. My role is to offer a safe, affirming space where you can explore the parts of your life that feel stuck, confusing, or painful. Together, we’ll make sense of your unique experiences, patterns, and emotions in a way that leads to meaningful, lasting change.

I work from a psychoanalytic psychotherapy framework, which means we won’t just focus on quick fixes—we’ll delve deeper. By understanding how your past shapes your present, we can begin to shift patterns that no longer serve you and open the door to a more connected, authentic life.

Who I Work Best With

My practice is best suited for individuals who are ready to engage in deeper self-exploration and long-term growth. I specialize in working with:

• People navigating life transitions

• Those experiencing anxiety, depression, and/or trauma related difficulties

• Adults with ADHD or ASD

• Challenges in relationships or interpersonal dynamics

• Sex workers and others seeking a judgment-free therapeutic space

My clients often tell me they’ve felt misunderstood elsewhere. In our work, I prioritize curiosity over judgment and depth over surface-level solutions.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

Therapy with me may feel abstract at first—but over time, the process becomes richer and more revealing. I want to understand how you think, what you feel, and how your internal world relates to the external one. From there, we begin the deeper work of making unconscious patterns more conscious, helping you move toward a life that feels more aligned and whole.

Come As You Are

My practice is inclusive and affirming of all gender identities, sexual orientations, relationship structures, and cultural backgrounds. You are welcome exactly as you are.

If you’re looking for a therapist who offers more than just coping strategies—someone who will support you in deeply understanding yourself and creating real, lasting change—I’d be honored to work with you.

Adults with ADHD, AuDHD, and ASD have become one of my therapeutic niches. It doesn’t matter if you were diagnosed in childhood or for the first time as an adult, there is a lot to learn and understand about your brain. There can be a specific type of grief process that occurs after learning this information about yourself, usually for the first time. I can help you work through this often overwhelming flood of feelings and confusion.

I also work with various types of trauma, depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationship issues, personality disorders, dissociative disorders, connecting one's past to the present, and exploring one's sexuality and sexual self. I recently published work about breakups utilizing object relations and psychoanalytic theory.

The Observer Effect Psychotherapy

In physics, the observer effect is the alteration of an observed system by the simple act of observation. The same is true for your unconscious. Once observed and reflected upon, it becomes known, which inherently creates change and disruption to the repetitive patterns that have been playing out causing road blocks and emotional distress.
